LIST OF DOCUMENTS for opening of a correspondent account

The list of documents provided for opening of a correspondent account with a credit institution for a resident (a respondent):

  1. Application for opening a correspondent account in the form prescribed by the Bank.
  2. A card with basic information about the client in the form prescribed by the Bank.
  3. Customer Questionnaire in the form prescribed by the Bank.
  4. Statement of the actual presence / absence of the organization at the legal address in the form prescribed by the Bank.
  5. Statement of operations effected in the form prescribed by the Bank.
  6. The letter confirming the implementation by the credit institution of measures to counteract the legalization (laundering) of proceeds from crime and terrorism financing, stipulated by the Federal Law of August 07, 2001, No. 115-FZ (certified by signature of the head of the credit institution and the company seal).
  7. The letter confirming the information about the presence / absence of requirements to the Respondent by the tax authorities on transfer of payments to the budgets of all levels of the budget system of the Russian Federation, the budgets of state extra-budgetary funds and the seizure of Respondent’s correspondent accounts opened with other banks, for the purposes set forth in the Regulations of the Bank Russia of March 20, 2006, No. 283-P (certified by signature of the head of the credit institution and the company seal).
  8. The original of the card with specimen signatures and a seal impression (notarization).
  9. The list of all correspondent banks of the Respondent on the date of the Agreement (certified by signature of the head of the credit institution and the company seal).
  10. Bank Account Agreement in two (2) counterparts.
  11. Certificate of state registration of a legal entity (notarized copy).
  12. Certificate of registration in the Uniform State Register of Legal Entities regarding the legal entity registered before July 01, 2002 (notarized copy).
  13. Certificate of Amendments to the information on the legal entity (notarized copy).
  14. Certificate of tax registration at the Tax Authority (notarized copy).
  15. License of the Bank of Russia (notarized copy).
  16. The original or notarized copy of an extract from the Uniform State Register of Legal Entities. Validity period of the extract is one month.
  17. Certificate (letter) of the statistical bodies of Registration in EGRPO (Uniform State Register of Enterprises and Organizations) with assignment of codes and classification criteria (notarized copy).
  18. Charter with all subsequent amendments thereto (notarized copy).
  19. Resolution / Protocol of incorporators for establishment of the company (a copy certified by the sole executive body of the institution).
  20. Resolution / Protocol for the approval of the Charter of the Company (a copy certified by the sole executive body of the institution).
  21. Confirmation by the corresponding Bank of Russia branch of approval of the head and chief accountant of the credit institution and other officers specified in the card with specimen signatures (notarized copy).
  22. Confirmation by the corresponding Bank of Russia branch of acceptance of cards with specimen signatures of the head and chief accountant of the credit institution and other officers specified in the card with specimen signatures (notarized copy).
  23. Resolution / Protocol of incorporators for electing a sole executive body (a copy certified by the sole executive body of the institution).
  24. Orders on appointment of individuals authorized to dispose of the account (a copy certified by the sole executive body of the institution).
  25. Original or notarized copy of power of attorney issued by the chief executive - the head of the Respondent certifying the authority of the person to open an account and sign an Agreement, in the case they are signed not by the chief executive of the Respondent.
  26. Documents confirming the right of the sole executive body of the institution for the actual location address (copies certified by the sole executive body of the institution).
  27. Documents confirming the right of the sole executive body for the legal address (registration address) (copies certified by the sole executive body of the institution).
  28. Identity documents of the head officer and the individuals specified in the card with signature specimen and seal impression (notarized copies).
  29. Statements of the Respondent’s Bank made in accordance with forms 101, 102, 134, and 135 (a copy certified by the individuals from among those having the right of the first and second signatures as specified in the signature card in form 0401026, and sealed with the seal of the legal entity that is also indicated in the card).

For the purpose of customer identification, the bank has the right to additionally require other documents.

In order to open an account, it may be required to provide to the bank the copies of documents (with their originals, for verification) which are to be certified by the customer and by the authorized officers of the Bank according to the Order and internal Regulations.

Provision to the Bank of documents for opening a bank account, as well as receipt of the Certificate of account opening and a copy of the Bank Account Agreement from a representative of the customer is performed on the basis of a notarized power of attorney and upon showing their passport.


NOTE:

For branches of resident credit institutions, the following documents are to be provided additionally:

  1. A copy of the Branch Regulations*;
  2. A copy of the Notice of Registration with the Tax Authority at the location of a separate division within the territory of the Russian Federation*;
  3. A document confirming the powers of the head of a separate division (appointment order / resolution and the power of attorney) certified by the resident credit institution.
  4. A document confirming location of the branch of the resident credit institution (certified by the resident credit institution):
    • a copy of the Certificate of Ownership, or
    • a copy of the lease (sublease) agreement.

This list can be extended by the Bank upon reviewing the account opening documents in individual cases.

* - notarized or certified by a tax authority.

If a resident credit institution already has a correspondent account with Commercial Bank “Platina” then, in order to open a correspondent account in the Russian Federation currency (U.S. dollars, Euros), it is enough to provide the following documents:

  • Application for opening a correspondent account;
  • A card with specimen signatures and a seal impression;
  • An Agreement for opening and maintenance of a correspondent account in the Russian Federation currency (U.S. dollars, Euros) (in 2 counterparts).

Documents to be submitted by non-resident credit institutions for opening of correspondent accounts:

  1. Application for opening of a correspondent account;
  2. Documents confirming the legal status of the non-resident credit institution under the laws of the country where it was established*:
    • copies of constituent documents (articles of incorporation, charter, etc.);
    • copies of the documents for amendments to the constituent documents (if available);
    • copy of the document confirming the state registration;
  3. Copies of the Licenses, or extracts from the bank register, or other documents confirming the existence of authorization to engage in banking activities*;
  4. A copy of the permit of the national bank of a foreign country for opening accounts in the Russian Federation (if required)*;
  5. A card with specimen signatures of authorized officers and seal impression on the form number 0401026 according to OKUD (All-Russia Classifier of Management Documentation) (in 2 copies)*;
  6. Documents confirming the appointment to a post and the right to manage the account for individuals referred to in the card with specimen signatures and the seal impression, as well as the powers of attorney (or a duly certified copy thereof) to manage the account of individuals whose details have not been described in the constituent documents*;
  7. A copy of the Certificate of tax registration*;
  8. A copy of a letter of the statistical bodies regarding assignment of codes and classification criteria (if available)*;
  9. The power of attorney to sign the Agreement and to open an account, in the case when the authorized person signing the application to open a correspondent account in the name of the non-resident credit institution is other than the head of the non-resident credit institution*;
  10. Copies of the audit reports on the reliability of the financial statement of the non-resident credit institution with enclosure of forms of financial statements for the last three years of operation*;
  11. The agreement for opening and maintenance of the correspondent account in the Russian Federation currency (U.S. dollars, Euros) (in 2 counterparts);
  12. A document confirming the availability of a permanently operating executive body of the non-resident credit institution in the territory of the country where the non-resident credit institutions was registered*;
  13. A document confirming the availability of bank-Respondent’s permanent office in the country where the non-resident credit institutions was registered*;
  14. A card with basic information about the client;;
  15. A copy of the passport (of the authorized person);
  16. Questionnaire (file) of the customer (beneficiary) - of the credit institution.

NOTE:

For branches of the resident credit institutions the following documents are to be provided additionally:

  1. A copy of the Branch Regulations*;
  2. Copies of the documents confirming the accreditation of the branch in the Russian Federation*;
  3. A copy of the certificate of tax registration issued at the location where the branch was opened*;
  4. A document confirming the location of the non-resident credit institution’s branch (certified by the non-resident credit institution):
    • a copy of the Certificate of Ownership, or
    • a copy of the lease (sublease) agreement.

This list can be extended by the Bank upon reviewing the account opening documents in individual cases.

* - certified in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation. Documents drawn up in foreign languages must be accompanied by their translation into Russian, certified in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation. In cases stipulated by legislation of the Russian Federation, the documents submitted when opening an account should be legalized.

If a non-resident credit institution already has a correspondent account with Commercial Bank “Platina” then, in order to open a correspondent account in the Russian Federation currency (U.S. dollars, Euros), it is enough to provide the following documents:

  • Application for opening a correspondent account;
  • A card with specimen signatures and a seal impression;
  • An Agreement for opening and maintenance of a correspondent account in the Russian Federation currency (U.S. dollars, Euros) (in 2 counterparts).
